Curiorium Safety Manual
Guidelines for the Recognition of Reality
Introduction
The Curiorium Circle cannot guarantee that every traveler will exercise sound judgment.
The following guidelines are therefore provided as a matter of courtesy.
1. The artifact is probably heavier than it appears.
This is particularly true for objects made of stone, brass, iron, hardwood or combinations thereof.
2. Beauty does not exempt an artifact from physics.
A beautiful object remains subject to gravity, momentum and other inconvenient realities.
3. If an artifact appears indestructible, avoid testing the theory.
The artifact may survive.
The floor may not.
4. Every artifact should be used for its intended purpose.
Any additional uses discovered by the owner remain their responsibility.
5. Curiorium strongly discourages using journals as shields.
Even if they are capable of performing the role surprisingly well.
6. Assumptions should be handled with caution.
Experience suggests they are responsible for a remarkable number of misunderstandings.
7. The Golem is usually correct.
This fact has not improved his personality.
8. The Vaults Master’s recommendations regarding tea should be taken seriously.
Ignoring them rarely improves the outcome.
9. If an artifact inspires curiosity, creativity or a sudden desire to begin a new project, this is considered normal.
No corrective action is required.
